July mortgage production marked the third consecutive month of descending activity for ABN AMRO Mortgage Group Inc.
The latest loan volume of $4.1 billion fell from June’s total of $4.7 billion, the Michigan-based lender announced. Mortgage fundings are way below the total of $16.0 billion a year ago.
July fundings consisted of more than 28,500 loans, according to the announcement.
ABN AMRO said its division InterFirst Wholesale Lending accounted for nearly 71% of total volume.
