The nation's biggest mortgage broker continued to expand.
Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corp. announced Thursday the addition of eight new branches to its network of over 650 offices.
Allied stepped into new territory with the offices in Berlin, Conn., and Lititz, Penn., and Santa Monica, Calif., as these reportedly are its first branches in these cities.
The rest of the branches are located in Hampstead, Md., Louisville, Ky., Phoenix, Ariz., Duluth, Ga., and in San Diego, Calif., according to announcements.
With the latest additions, Allied has opened 23 branches this year.
The Houston, Texas-based company says it is the largest privately held mortgage banker/broker in the country and that it funded more than $12 billion in loans in 2004.
