A Texas-based net branch company will hold its third annual convention next month. The two government sponsored housing enterprises will participate in the event.

Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation announced that it will hold its national convention at the Houston Hyatt Regency Hotel on September 10th to September 15th. The company, which says it originated $9 billion in loans last year, said it expects over 1,000 employees to attend. So far, there are 120 exhibitors, according to a company spokesman.

In its announcement, the company noted that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be a part of this year’s meeting, marking one of the few private conventions in which they will both be present.

More than 200 workshop and breakout sessions are planned for the convention.

“The national convention is an absolute highlight of our fiscal year and continues to improve with each installment,” said company CEO Jim Hodge. “Having the quality and quantity of presenters and participants, along with Fannie and Freddie in attendance, speaks volumes about the respect the Allied family is receiving throughout the industry.”

Because September 11th will occur during the convention, the company will recognize a moment of silence, the spokesman said.
