|Bradford Technologies' AI Ready Integration Module Now Available
Oxford, Miss. (Dec. 3, 2001) -- The developers of Appraiser's Toolbox Software, Bradford Technologies, announced today that the company's Appraisal Institute Ready integration module is now available via Bradford Technologies' Web site at www.appraiserstoolbox.com. The integration piece, which can be downloaded for a 30-day free trial, will allow appraisers using Bradford Technologies' Appraiser's Toolbox Software version 9.8 to deliver completed reports securely to their clients via the Web without rekeying.
The AI Ready Standard, developed by the Appraisal Institute's Residential Data Storage Standards Committee, establishes a data communication protocol that allows appraisers to communicate with their clients via the Web. Based on extensible markup language (XML), the standard was created to assure industry-wide access to the Appraisal Institute Residential Database, and is open to all appraisal software vendors. Software conforming to the standard bears the logo "Appraisal Institute Ready" and via the Open Appraisal Document Interface (OADI) developed by real estate technology firm FNC, can transmit and/or retrieve data to/from participating software packages and interfaces, including FNC's AppraisalPort.
AppraisalPort is a Web portal that gives appraisers access to their lender clients who use FNC's Collateral Management System' (CMS) as their back-office software. Through AppraisalPort, appraisers can receive orders, send completed appraisal reports and communicate with their clients. To date, Bradford Technologies' module incorporates upload functionality for the following forms: 1004, 1025, 1073 and 2055, and work is underway to support additional forms.
"The AI Ready integration module Bradford Technologies is providing will give Appraiser's Toolbox users the ability to deliver appraisals to their clients easily online," said Jeff Bradford, CEO of Bradford Technologies. "We want to provide our customers the tools they need to stay on top of the industry. The module is a part of that continuous effort."
"Like Bradford Technologies, AIRD is committed to supporting appraisers with technology that keeps them ahead," said Ann Spitzley, president of AIRD. "We 're pleased to join Bradford Technologies in bringing the new AI Ready capabilities to its appraiser-clients."
