Soon, you may notice some subtle changes in the tone and style of many of the stories here at MortgageDaily.com. As the newly appointed Editor, I'll be working to keep the site current and accurate, as well to continue providing you with the pertinent, engaging mortgage industry news you've come to expect.
Prior to MortgageDaily.com, I worked as an Editor/Producer for DallasNews.com, and before that, on the city desk at its print counterpart, The Dallas Morning News. While I miss certain aspects of writing for a printed publication, I have come to appreciate the advantages of online communications. Most importantly for readers, we can provide you with up-to-date, narrowly focused information that affects you and your profession. And, of course, we can be read from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection.
I'm especially looking forward to covering the mortgage industry and related issues for two reasons. First, there's a sense of security in the way the industry is outperforming others economically. More importantly, I know that every day your work plays a crucial part in facilitating individual property ownership. I feel fortunate to have a supporting role in the process.
