The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is hiring hundreds of servicing employees in Florida.
On a national basis, PNC employed 3,348 mortgage employees as of June 30.
But that number is about to increase by more than 200.
“We expect to hire more than 200 employees in our new Jacksonville facility over the next few months,” PNC Vice President Corporate Communications Fred Solomon said in a statement to Mortgage Daily.
The jobs are for its mortgage servicing operation.
Open positions include those in customer service, collections support and loss mitigation.
PNC had a third-party servicing portfolio of $137 billion as of June 30, while its own residential portfolio stood at $16.6 billion.
Solomon noted that “the new facility enhances the resilience of PNC’s mortgage servicing operations.”
