|A foreclosure prevention counseling company has leased space in South Carolina where it plans to add 300 new employees.
Titanium Holdings Inc. announced today that it has leased 42,000 square feet in Fort Mill.
During the next five years, Titanium expects to bring as many as 300 new "good-paying jobs" to the area. Positions include customer service, call center and back office jobs.
U.S. Rep. John Spratt was quoted in the announcement as saying the Titanium move indicates South Carolina is turning a corner.
Titanium is parent to Titanium Solutions Inc., which contacts and counsels borrowers with the intention of preventing foreclosures. The service includes on-site visits to borrowers' homes.
"Titanium is providing its services to the mortgage industry during a critical time and it is essential that it resides in a community that addresses the needs of the company and its employees," South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer was quoted as saying in the press release.
