Lenders One Mortgage Cooperative reported that residential originations reached an all-time high last year. In addition, a record number of new members came on board.
The St. Louis-based company’s members closed $106.7 billion in residential loans during all of 2011, according to an announcement Tuesday.
It was the biggest year on record for Lenders One.
In 2010, home-loan production was more than 300,000 transactions for more than a revised $91 billion based on separately reported data (Lenders One previously reported that 2010 production was just $90 billion).
A spokeswoman was unable to immediately provide 2011 quarterly volume for the cooperative.
After adding a record 49 new members in 2011, membership at the cooperative ended the year at 221 mortgage bankers.
Previously reported data indicate that membership finished 2010 at 180.
Lenders One is holding its winter conference this week in Huntington Beach, Calif.
