Cease-and-desist orders have been issued against dozens of mortgage loan originators in Massachusetts.
The orders were announced today by the state’s Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation.
According to the state, the loan officers failed to meet licensing requirements established by Chapter 44 of the Acts of 2009 – An Act Adopting the Federal Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.
In all, 43 cease-and-desist orders were issued.
