"The decision to hire an editor was made in an effort to increase both the quality and the quantity of news content at MortgageDaily.com," said Sam Garcia, publisher of the mortgage industry news publication. "The combination of Christy's writing experience and my twenty-two years in mortgage lending will make for a better quality publication."
MortgageDaily.com, based in Irving, Texas, was originally founded four years ago to provide general mortgage news content to people working in the mortgage industry. Since that time, it has shifted its focus to content about mortgage fraud and content of interest to individual loan originators.
The increased focus has resulted in record activty during August, when pages viewed exceeded more than 179,000.
