|Among a number of recently added mortgage branches, a majority are in the eastern half of the country. Three companies opened locations in Texas.
Branch managers can have full access to branch-specific financial information though a tool being offered for the Loan Vision Mortgage Accounting Solution, a March 17 statement said.
Included in the benefits promised are lower paper and printing costs and a significant reduction in manual workloads for departments that interact with the accounting platform.

In Colorado, Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group Corp. announced earlier this month that it opened a branch in Centennial. Gold Star says it is growing rapidly using a strategy supported by "excellent ongoing branch support through maintaining a superior operations infrastructure." Fifteen-year mortgage veteran Kurt Rogers was appointed branch manager.

Earlier this month, Gold Star said it opened a location in Tysons Corner, Va. The new branch manager is Miguel Balbi, who reportedly has a decade in the business.
Sam Fisher -- whose background is primarily in advertising -- is overseeing a branch opened in Fairfax Station, Va., by GSF Mortgage. GSF National Sales Director Mike Maida noted, "Being licensed in multiple states paired with successful advertising skills will ensure the leads that they need to prosper."

In February, GSF announced Michelle Nikolay is the new branch manager of its Marshfield, Wis., branch. Nikolay reportedly spent her career primarily in non-mortgage sales.
A branch has been opened in Madison, Conn., by San Diego-based iServe Residential Lending LLC, a news release last month said. Paul Constantinou was appointed branch manager.

Scott Green is managing a just-opened NFM Inc. branch in Eugene, Ore., a March 4 news release said. The branch was opened a week before Christmas. NFM reports being licensed in 29 states.

Dallas-based Supreme Lending said last week that it opened its first branch in Pennsylvania. The launch of the Philadelphia location is part of an expansion in the Northeast. Robert Cenci was appointed branch manager and has recruited six employees for the new branch.

Mortgage Network Inc. announced this month the opening of a new branch in Quincy, Mass. Brian Moloney is leading the branch. The New England location reportedly brings to with more than 45 Mortgage Network offices that are licensed to do business in 21 states.
Danvers, Mass.-based Mortgage Network reports that its has originated an average of $1.6 billion in home loans since opening in 2000. Its website is at www.mortgagenetwork.com.
The debut of a Rhode Island branch in Providence was announced last month by Mortgage Network. Jesse Kenner, who will lead the branch, reportedly has nearly a decade in the business.
A retail branch was opened in Northbrook, Ill., by Mortgage Master as part of a midwest expansion. The company said Monday that Jorden Brok and Brett Lotsoff are co-managing the office. With the additional location, Mortgage Master says it has a total of four Chicago-area branches.
Earlier this month, Mortgage Master -- which reports a staff of more than 700 employees in 26 states -- announced a new branch in Houston managed by Michael Marlow.
The Federal Savings Bank said Monday that it opened a new loan production office in Austin, Texas. In addition to 15 employees that have already been hired for the location, another 15 are expected to be recruited over the next year. The company hires "only the best, most qualified loan officers."
A new location in El Paso, Texas, was announced on March 7 by PrimeLending. Dallas-based PrimeLending reports a total of 300 locations in 42 states.
A Savannah, Ga., branch was opened by Guild Mortgage Co., a March 13 statement said. Brenda Harden, who is heading the first new branch in the state, said in the statement that Guild is optimistic about the region.
Sun West Mortgage Company Inc. announced last month a new retail center in Abrams, Wis.
Absolute Mortgage recently opened a branch in Marysville, Wash., bringing its branch count in the state to a dozen.
Carlos Martinez, who reportedly has more than a decade in the mortgage business, is managing a new branch in Rockville, Md., for Equity Loans, a February announcement indicated. Rockville brings to two the number of Maryland branches for Equity Loans. The Atlanta-based company says it operates in more than 30 states.
"The mortgage industry is switching gears and the minority market is now one of the fastest growing segments in home purchases, so it is crucial for today’s lenders to be multilingual and have a diverse staff to relate to these different cultures," Martinez said.
