A huge outreach campaign is being launched to identify victims of faulty foreclosures. The effort follows a direct-mail campaign to million of prospective victims.
A feature story has been distributed to 7,000 small newspapers that solicits previous borrowers who faced a foreclosure in 2009 or 2010 involving errors by the mortgage servicer.
The material is being distributed in English and Spanish.
