Mortgage Master said last month that it opened a Rye, N.Y., branch. Jonathan Yellon was named branch manager of the new location.
The Walpole, Mass.-based lender reports that the Rye branch brings to 27 the number of retail branch offices it operates in the Northeast.

In Carmel, Ind., Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group Corp. opened a new branch. A news release Monday said that the location will be the “cornerstone” of its midwest expansion. Ten-year mortgage veteran Eric Covington is the branch manager.

Five new branches were opened by MCS Mortgage Bankers Inc., the New-York-based firm announced last month. One branch is in Pennsylvania, another is in Illinois and the other three are in New Jersey.
MCS says its retail branch count in the tri-state area stands at 15.
A new branch was opened in Sterling Heights, Mich., by Ross Mortgage Corp., the company said earlier this month. In addition to Ross Branch Manager Tony Abate, several new employees have been hired for the office.
Total branch count in Michigan for Troy, Mich.-based Ross Mortgage stands at 16.
