Quarterly residential lending activity at Churchill Mortgage Corp. picked up. In addition, the company’s payroll has grown larger.
The mortgage banker generated production of 1,715 loans for $0.353 billion during the second quarter.
The Brentwood, Tennessee-based firm disclosed the
operational details as part of the Mortgage Daily Second Quarter 2015 Mortgage Origination Survey.
Activity at Churchill improved from the first three months of this year, when 1,465 home loans were closed for $0.290 billion.
Business was also better than in the same three-month period last year, when
1,253 mortgages were funded for $0.233 billion.
For the entire first half of this year, residential loan originations totaled
3,180 loans for $0.644 billion.
All of Churchill’s production comes from retail originators.
No servicing portfolio was reported.
There were 357 people on Churchill’s payroll as of June 30, 2015.
Staffing
increased from 312 employees three months earlier and 292 people 12 months earlier.
