The number of loan production personnel utilizing Ellie Mae Inc.’s mortgage management solution has moved past the 100,000 milestone.
Ellie reported the achievement Monday. The announcement is one of many emerging from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s annual conference in Las Vegas this week.
The Pleasanton, Calif.-based mortgage technology provider said that the number of active Encompass users recently climbed past 100,000.
Industry-wide, there were 511,233 mortgage loan originators registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System as of the second quarter.
The Encompass platform is reportedly fully integrated with built-in tools to help maintain loan quality while ensuring compliance with rules, regulations and laws.
Ellie, a Mortgage Daily advertiser, claims that Encompass helps banks, credit unions and mortgage bankers of all sizes manufacture compliant loans more efficiently and quickly.
Ellie Mae President and Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Corr said in the statement that it has never been more important to choose the right mortgage technology provider.
“Compliance is a key driver for adoption of Encompass technology for banks of all sizes, with significant adoption from very large lenders,” Corr said. “They recognize Encompass will not only improve the quality of their loans, but save them time and money as well.”
