The American Enterprise Institute is holding its AEI Leadership Network Midwest at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago from Oct. 17 to Oct. 19. AEI scholars will hold discussions and give presentations.
AIME Fuse 2018 National Conference takes place at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Oct. 20, according to the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts. The event costs $125. The goal of the conference is to "celebrate and enhance the value of independent mortgage experts."
On Nov. 6, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is hosting its Credit Risk workshop at the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway in San Francisco. The session
focuses on credit risk within the loan portfolio.
OCC workshops cost $99 and are limited to the first-35 registrants.
The following day, at the same hotel, the OCC is holding its Operational Risk workshop. It
focuses on people, processes and systems -- the key components of operational risk.
