Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association holds its 27th Annual Rocky Mountain Mortgage Lenders Expo at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.
Also on Thursday, Agility Resources Group is hosting the Motor City Mortgage Expo at the DoubleTree by Hilton Detroit in Dearborn, Michigan. The cost is $125.
National M.I. is holding the Orlando Mortgage Leadership Roundtable on Friday at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Florida.
The free roundtable
is being promoted as a fast-paced day of education on a variety of topics with "experts" discussing the current state of the mortgage industry.
On April 17, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is conducting
its Compliance Risk workshop at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport in Indianapolis, Indiana. Among the topics to be covered will be the Flood Disaster Protection Act, fair lending and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
OCC workshops cost $99 to attend and are limited to the first 35 registrants.
On April 18, at the same Indianapolis venue, the OCC hosts its
Operational Risk workshop. Third-party risk, internal fraud and cybersecurity will be among the topics discussed.
The OCC will hold its Risk Governance workshop on April 24 at the
Holiday Inn Fort Walton Beach in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
The following day at the same location, the OCC is conducting its Credit Risk workshop. Instructors will focus on credit risk within the loan portfolio, such as identifying trends and recognizing problems.
In Glendale, California, at the Hilton Los Angeles North, the OCC will hold its Building Blocks: Keys to Success for Directors and Senior Management workshop on May 1 and May 2. Attendees will learn about the roles and responsibilities of board participation.
May 8 is the date of the OCC's Compliance Risk workshop in Memphis, Tennessee, at the the DoubleTree Memphis Downtown.
A day later, also at the DoubleTree, the OCC's Operational Risk workshop takes place.
The Pinehurst Resort in
Pinehurst, North Carolina, is the venue for American Mortgage Conference. The event, hosted by the North Carolina Bankers Association, takes place from April 30 to May 2. Registration costs between $525 and $625 depending on if purchased by April 16.
The 47th Annual Convention of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia is being held from May 3 to May 6 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Florida. In Chicago, at the Countryside Conference Center, the Chicago Mortgage Originators EXPO will be held on May 3. The cost of registration is $125.
Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association is holding its 2018 Annual Convention from May 7 to May 9 at the Marriott Northwest Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. The fee to attend is between $295 and $595 depending on membership status.
The Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers Association is holding its Annual Conference from May 9 to May 11 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The price of the conference is between $199 to $349 depending on membership status and if registered by April 30.
On May 24, the American Bankruptcy Institute will hold its 20th
annual New York City Bankruptcy Conference at the Hilton Midtown. Attendees will pay between $695 and $1,270.
The JW Marriott Nashville
in Nashville, Tennessee, is the location of the Appraisal Institute's 2018 Annual Conference. The event, which runs from July 30 through Aug. 1, costs between $725 and $925 based on the type of attendee.
