Quarterly loan production at Prosperity Home Mortgage LLC ascended. In addition, the size of the firm’s staff increased.
From Jan. 1 until March 31 of this year, the Chantilly, Virginia-based company closed 2,129 home loans for $0.616 billion.
The details of its quarterly operations were provided as part of Prosperity Home Mortgage’s participation in the Mortgage Daily First Quarter 2015 Origination Survey.
Business improved compared to the final quarter of last year, when 1,952
residential loans were funded for $0.557 billion.
All of the loans closed in the first-quarter 2015 were originated through the retail channel.
Prosperity Home Mortgage didn’t report a mortgage servicing portfolio.
But it did report mortgage staffing, which finished March at 384 employees.
Headcount expanded from Dec. 31, 2014, when there were 371 people on the payroll.
