Quarterly home lending activity moved lower at Prosperity Home Mortgage LLC, as did the mortgage banking firm’s employee headcount.
Residential loan production during the period that started on July 1 and ended on Sept. 30 totaled 2,796 loans for $0.767 billion.
That was according to data provided as part of Prosperity’s participation in the Mortgage Daily Third Quarter 2015 Mortgage Origination Survey.
Business at the Chantilly, Virginia-based company slowed compared to the previous three-month period, when 3,149 loans were funded for $0.909 billion.
But production pushed ahead of the
2,215 loans closed for $0.617 billion in the third-quarter 2014.
For all three quarters of this year, volume amounted to 8,074 mortgages for $2.292 billion.
All business for the lender came from the retail origination channel.
Prosperity reported no mortgage servicing portfolio.
As of Sept. 30, 2015, there were 389 people on Prosperity’s payroll.
Staffing
subsided from 394 employees as of June 30 and 390 people as of Sept. 30, 2014.
