GREENSBURG, Indiana — Opening their doors on Oct. 15, 2017, Ruoff Home Mortgage Inc. has been available to Decatur County residents for just a few months.
They celebrated with a ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon.
Hoosiers may recognize the name Ruoff Home Mortgage as it became the official sponsor of the music center in Noblesville last year — now known as the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.
Founded in 1984 by David Ruoff, the business has been around for more than three decades.
They also had projected $2 billion loan volume in 2017.
According to Senior Loan Officer Doug Westerfeld, Ruoff Home Mortgage plans to become the No. 1 mortgage lender in the Midwest by the end of 2018. Westerfeld also said that Ruoff Home Mortgage is the No. 1 mortgage lender in the State of Indiana.
But Westerfeld specifically spoke about Greensburg and Decatur County and what they hope to bring to this community.
“What we plan on bringing to the community is a service they’re not used to when it comes to mortgage lending,” he said. “Rates, terms, products — pretty much everybody provides the same rates — but where we really hang our hat is providing the customer service for that customer to get the deal done quicker.”
By visiting www.ruoff.com/dougwesterfeld, Westerfeld offers a statement which reads, “My customer service philosophy is to treat every customer with respect and to make their experience as stress free as possible. I believe that the purchase of a new home is a major decision and should be treated as such. I strive to make this decision as easy as possible for each client by being honest and trustworthy along with communicating frequently all while offering them sound and reliable advice.”
Ruoff Home Mortgage is located at 102 E. 10th St. in Greensburg.
The ribbon cutting was organized by Jeff Emsweller and the Greensburg-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.
