Preparing for Changes to FHA Appraisals
Webinar Held on Jan. 20, 2010
The Federal Housing Administration will soon be imposing its own version of the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC). The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) indicated in Mortgagee Letter 2009-28 that while the agency has not adopted the HVCC, it plans on issuing new FHA appraisal order guidelines that are consistent with, and adopt language from, the HVCC. The updates are effective for all case numbers assigned on or after January 1, 2010 (delayed until Feb. 15).
Join MortgageDaily.com and Patton Boggs for an hour-long webinar to learn more about these impending changes directly from HUD and several appraisal industry leaders. This complimentary Webinar* will be hosted by Sam Garcia, Publisher, MortgageDaily.com, and moderated by Michael Waldron, Partner, Patton Boggs.
