LOS Offerings Packed With Features

Mortgage News

Providers of loan origination systems continue to load additional services on to their software. Many of the ancillary features are compliance-related, though one consolidates marketing, point-of-sale and closing with the LOS platform. Two others incorporate mortgage fraud prevention and loan servicing.

MortgageDashboard has been fortified with FraudGUARD, a press release yesterday from Interthinx said. The fraud prevention system measures and scores fraud risk against public, private and proprietary data sources.

A server hosting option is now available for PointCentral starting at $595 plus $175 per seat, Calyx Software announced this month. Users can remotely access or store loan files through an Internet connection. A partnership with Access Business Technologies and focusIT Inc. enables a monthly lease option.

“The hosting option is perfect for those companies that may not have access to a central server or the ability to purchase one,” Calyx executive Dennis Boggs said in the statement.

ConformX has been integrated into the Spectrum LOS, mortgage compliance service provider DocuTech announced. The alliance promises to provide users with compliant loan documents directly from the ConformX LOS.

AssistSeries, a mortgage platform for managing the loan process from initial marketing to post-closing, was recently introduced by OpenClose. Targeted at mortgage brokers, mortgage lenders and small financial institutions, the new offering has been integrated with LION MTS.

ccmcBridge has been added to the LenderAssist LOS, OpenClose announced on May 6. The initial implementation includes a loan servicing platform.

Originators can order appraisals that are compliant with the Home Valuation Code of Conduct through Ellie Mae Inc.’s Encompass system, a statement this month from MortgageDaily.com advertiser StreetLinks National Appraisal Services said. The anonymity of the appraiser is maintained, while originators receive the completed appraisal report through Encompass.

Earlier this month, Wipro Gallagher announced the launch of NetOxygen Cirrus, a Web-based LOS that guides users from the marketing, to the point of sale and through the closing process. Lead management and integrated vendor are integrated into the system, which can be implemented in “days.”

Hawaii’s PCLender.com announced a case study that it said outlines how it helped a mortgage company grow from 25 offices to 62 offices.

More recently, PCLender.com integrated the NYLX product eligibility and pricing platform into its LOS. Redundant data entry is eliminated through the integration.
