A wholesale mortgage lender is providing its mortgage-broker clients with hands-free access to current information about their loan pipelines.
The new offering promises to enable brokers to ask Alexa, the intelligent personal digital assistant from Amazon.com, the status of upcoming closings.
In addition to obtaining a hands-free pipeline status, brokers can utilize Alexa for integrated communications and scheduling functions.
Behind the new offering is American Financial Resources Inc.’s wholesale-correspondent division, AFR Wholesale.
According to a statement, AFR Loan Center, the wholesaler’s origination portal, is being integrated into Amazon’s “intelligent personal digital assistant.”
“Simply saying, ‘Alexa, ask AFR loan center,’ will generate the answers needed to grow business and be competitive in the industry,” the statement said.
The offering, dubbed AskAFR through Alexa, is available online as an add-on at www.Amazon.com.
