The self-proclaimed largest U.S. mortgage broker just got bigger.
Two of Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corp.’s new offices are in cities it previously did not have a presence in; Dover, N.H., and Carlsbad, Calif., according to announcements Friday. The six others are in Fayetteville, N.C., Abbottstown, Pa., Atlanta, Ga., Palos Hills, Ill., and Nashville, Tenn., and Mandeville, La., Allied said. The Houston, Texas-based firm claims it is the largest privately held mortgage banker/broker with more than 650 offices operating in 49 states and the Virgin Islands and 2004 volume of more than $12 billion. The Palos Hills location marks the second opening in Illinois in less than two months, as Allied announced a new branch in Lansing late last December. At that time, it also announced two additional new offices in New Jersey and Nevada. |
