Two recent mortgage executive appointments were at the government-sponsored enterprises, while one former GSEÂ executive has become general counsel at a loan servicer.
Freddie Mac’s board of directors has elected Thomas M. Goldstein to the board, a recent announcement from the McLean, Va.-based company said.
Among Goldstein’s former employers is LaSalle Bank Corp., where he was chairman, chief executive officer and president of ABNÂ AMROÂ Mortgage Group.
Goldstein lists the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago as his current employer on LinkedIn. He is a board member and chair of the risk management committee.
Over at Fannie Mae, Brian P. Brooks was appointed executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Brooks was recruited from OneWest Bank, where he was vice chair and and chief legal officer.
Amanda Gordon was hired by LoanCare as senior vice president and general counsel, an Oct. 30 statement said. Gordon comes from Fannie, where she was a director and associate general counsel.
In Lewisville, Texas, Jon Hodge was appointed to the position of vice president and national sales director of correspondent lending at Nationstar Mortgage LLC.
Before joining Nationstar in 2013, Hodge spent more than a decade in the business — including time at PHHÂ Mortgage and CitiMortgage Inc.
The new chief compliance officer of Bayview Loan Servicing is Michael S. Waldron. He’ll also serve as managing director.
Waldron’s two decades’ experience most recently included his role as partner at Ballard Spahr LLP.
