Mike Roemer has been named chief compliance officer of Wells Fargo & Co., a statement last month said. He held the same position at is prior job with Barclays. Roemer starts his new job in January 2018.

Impac Mortgage Holdings Inc. disclosed last week that its president, William S. Ashmore, will be stepping down at the end of this year. He’s been with the Irvine, California-based company since 1995.

Impac noted that Ashmore is leaving “to pursue other interests both personal and professional.” The company and Ashmore are
working on a transition of his duties and responsibilities.

Former PrimeLending president Scott Bristol has been hired by New American Funding as senior vice president national sales manager. Bristol’s two decades in the business included stints at Countrywide Home Loans and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

The new chief strategic officer at Stearns Lending LLC is Michelle Greenstreet, a statement Monday said.
Among her prior employers are Caliber Home Loans Inc., where she spent more than a year, and Citigroup Inc. which she worked at for nearly 14 years.

Fort Mill, South Carolina, Movement Mortgage LLC said last month that Henry Santos has been appointed to the position of chief information officer.

An Oct. 30 news release from PHH Corp. indicated that William Brown is stepping down as senior vice president and general counsel on Jan. 1, 2018. Taking over his job will be Madeline Flanagan, who has been with PHH Mortgage since 2002.

Paul Thomas has been named chief financial officer at Equity Prime Mortgage LLC, the Atlanta-based firm announced Monday. It’s his first job in the mortgage industry.

Last week, Equity Prime revealed
that Ed Abufaris has been brought on as senior vice president of third-party originations. His more than three decades in the business included time at Citi and MGIC.

David Barnes has been hired by Sterling National Bank as vice president and managing director of residential mortgage warehouse lending, according to an Oct. 30 statement. Most recently, Barnes worked at First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. His LinkedIn profile says he’s been in the business since at least 2002.

In Iselin, New Jersey, SD Capital Funding said Monday that Melissa Williams has been named head of operations.
She was recruited from Quicken Loans Inc., where she worked three years, most recently as senior purchase specialist. She’s been in the business for at least a decade.

PrimeLending announced last month that Uly Kim was promoted to regional manager of Southern California. The 21-year veteran, who joined the Dallas-based lender in 2010, previously spent nearly 14 years at Bank of America Corp. and predecessor Countrywide Home Loans.
