A Rhode Island-based government lender announced plans to triple its staff over the next two months.
The firm, Semper Home Loans, said in a statement today that it has completed a move to a bigger headquarters facility in Providence. The new office is located in an economic enterprise zone.
Semper, which previously operated as Semper Financial Mortgage Corp., reports a current staff of just 20 people.
Beginning on April 5 and finishing around May 20, the company will attempt to fill 50 new positions. Among the available jobs are home loan specialists, underwriters and senior processors. Other openings include funders, closers and other positions in administration and marketing.
The five-year-old company said it is approved with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as an FHA Full Eagle lender.
