Recent loan lead activity

One new lead service delivers live telephone calls and only charges for the lead if the call lasts more than 30 seconds. Other advancements in mortgage lead generation include guaranteed mortgage leads and a letter campaign for self-generated leads.

International Lead Service said last month that it launched a branded product designed to originate sales leads for seven targeted industries including mortgage loan modifications. Live telephone leads are generated through an ad campaign, at which point lead buyers have 30 seconds or more to gauge customer interest and determine whether to proceed.

“Only conversations that go on for more than the allotted time frames are billed,” International said. “This process allows business owners more opportunities to increase their conversions from sales and more possibilities to enhance their profits.”

Guaranteed To Fund is promoting leads that can be returned if no loan is closed. Qualified leads must be purchased under the Quality Assurance Program, which requires a $200 deposit.

Data Warehouse and MarketerNet Holdings LLC have merged to create Tranzact Information Services LLC, parent TRANZACT announced last month. Data Warehouse was acquired in 2006 and MarketerNet was acquired in May 2008.

LeadMailbox, a lead management provider for lenders in the LendingTree exchange, has added a feature that enables originators to direct prospective borrowers to realtors, a press release last week said. Qualifying borrowers can receive a cash-back incentive of up to $2,000.

Mortech was recognized as innovator of the year at the 2008 LendingTree Partner Summit, a recent press release said. Mortech’s loan pricing and lead management system was cited for helping Lending Tree lender partners improve efficiency and accuracy when working with prospects.

Mortgage Quest, a reverse mortgage marketing campaign, has been launched jointly by Focus Inc. and Jan Schrader & Associates, an announcement Tuesday said. Letters are automatically generated to support repeated contacts and consistent follow-up necessary for a successful campaign.

“Our customers can automate and leverage that follow-up process to ensure a steady flow of new leads while keeping in touch with their existing and past customers on a timely basis,” Market Focus President Chris Carter said in the announcement.
