Recent executive appointments in real estate finance include a range of positions at a variety of residential and commercial mortgage firms.

Anil Hinduja has joined the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. as executive vice president and chief enterprise risk officer, a news release last month said.

He’ll oversee Freddie Mac’s enterprise risk management division and lead an integrated risk-management framework for all aspects of risk across the organization.

Hinduja most recently spent
more than four years at Barclays. Before that he was at Citigroup Inc. for 19 years.

“Anil is a seasoned risk management executive who brings to Freddie Mac not only decades of deep consumer credit expertise, especially in mortgages, but comprehensive enterprise risk management expertise as well,” Freddie Mac Chief Executive Officer Donald H. Layton said in the announcement.

In Salt Lake City, Flagship Financial Group LLC recruited Brock Worthen to join the company as general counsel. Flagship originates loans guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Worthen became an attorney in 2009 after obtaining his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

Primary Capital Mortgage LLC hired Walt Carter as its new chief information officer, an April 29 statement said.
Carter reportedly has a quarter-century in technology, including nearly four years at Generation Mortgage Co.

The new district manager for the Southwest at Guild Mortgage Co. is Eugene Fera. Guild said Wednesday that
Fera has nearly two decades in the business. Among prior employers listed on his LinkedIn profile are Chase, Countrywide Home Loans and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Dennis Walker has been hired as the correspondent regional sales manager for the Northwest by Parkside Lending, a May 11 statement said.
During three decades in the business, Waller reportedly worked at ABN AMRO, CitiMortgage Inc. and Bank of America Corp.

Commercial real estate lender Greystone announced Monday that Tom Meunier has has been hired as a managing director in Newport Beach, California. He’ll originate multifamily loans on the West Coast for agency and conduit programs.

In April, New York-based Greystone said Steve Cho joined the firm as managing director. Cho will operate from Chicago and build Greystone’s business in the middle of the country.

At Walker & Dunlop Inc.,
Chris Charboneau was brought on as an originating senior vice president in Chicago. He previously worked it Deutsche Bank and Barclays.

Also hired by Bethesda, Maryland-based Walker & Dunlop was
Randy Efron. He’ll have the same job as Charboneau but work in New York.
