Compared to a year previous, quarterly home-lending volume at Churchill Mortgage Corp. has changed little. Hardly any variation was also reported for staffing.
As part of the Mortgage Daily Second Quarter 2018 Mortgage Origination Survey, Churchill reported that it closed 1,691 residential loans during the three months ended mid-year.
That worked out to an original unpaid principal balance of $0.387 billion, according to the Brentwood, Tennessee-based mortgage-banking organization.
Churchill previously declined to provide its first-quarter data.
However, it did previously report second-quarter 2017 production, which was
1,672 single-family loans originated for $0.358 billion.
As of June 30, 2018, there were 361 people on Churchill’s payroll. Staffing was down by just one employee compared to the same date last year.
