Mortgage Exec Appointments Include C-Suite Jobs

A host of mortgage firms, small and not-so-small, have announced that several open executive positions have been filled — including a number of C-Suite positions.

Forty-year mortgage veteran Jack Lloyd was named president of Heartland Mortgage, Dubuque, Iowa-based Heartland Financial USA Inc. announced on Oct. 25.

Lloyd most recently was market president at BMO Harris Bank. Also during his four-decade career, he held jobs at PNC Mortgage and Home Savings of America.

An Oct. 20 announcement from First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. said Mike McElroy has been appointed general counsel of the Tysons Corner, Virginia company. He was recruited from Stonegate Mortgage Corp., where he was in the same position for nearly three years, McElroy’s 15 years’ experience also included time at Fannie Mae and Ocwen Financial Corp.

A trio of hirings announced this month by Walter Investment Management Corp. include Alfred W. Young Jr., who is the new chief risk and compliance officer. Young most recently worked at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where was director of risk analytics. He’s worked at banks, including Fifth Third Bank, since 1993.

Next up was
Elizabeth F. Monahan, who is Walter’s new chief human resources officer. Her career reportedly spans more than 27 years, including time at Homeward Residential and GMAC Residential Finance Group. Monahan reportedly served as the senior human resources leader on acquisition teams for a number of acquisitions, including that of — which is now owned by Tampa, Florida-based Walter.

The third Walter appointment was that of Timothy J. Cranny as Ditech Financial LLC’s senior vice president of performing loan servicing.
His more than 25 years’ experience included time at Citigroup Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co.

Pacific Union Financial LLC said in an Oct. 25 news release that its new executive vice president and chief risk officer is Mitzi Migault. Prior to joining the Irving, Texas-based business, she worked at Stearns Lending LLC. In all, Migault has spent more than 15 years in real estate finance.

Cissy Larkin was named southwest regional manager over third-party originations at Stonegate, the Indianapolis-based company announced last week. Stonegate said she has more than a quarter-century in the mortgage business, including stints at American Home Mortgage and American State Bank, where she most recently worked.

In Santa Ana, California, Stearns Lending said this month that Phil Riccio was recruited as senior vice president, margin management. Riccio, who has 15 years’ experience in the mortgage business, was previously employed by Caliber Home Loans Inc., Nationstar Mortgage LLC and MetLife Home Loans.

The new TPO manager at Inlanta Mortgage is David Stephan, a news release Thursday said.
His nearly three decades in the business included time at PMI Mortgage Insurance Co., Mortgage Builder Software and Mortgagebot.

In Richardson, Texas, Joe Miller has joined Service First Mortgage Co. as chief operating officer.
Miller reportedly has 27 years’ experience, most recently at Bank of America Corp., where he spent nearly 15 years. Miller also previously worked a Wells Fargo.

Alterra Home Loans reported on Wednesday that Terence Murray was hired as its new western division sales & expansion vice president.
Murray, who reportedly has a decade in the industry, was recruited from Prospect Mortgage LLC, where he spent six years.
