During the past few months, HomeBridge Financial Services Inc. has expanded its mortgage servicing portfolio. Staffing, though, has been reduced.
As of March 31 of this year, the Iseline, New Jersey-based company serviced 96,865 residential loans that had an aggregate unpaid principal balance of $22.288 billion.
HomeBridge disclosed the details, along with other operational metrics, as part of the Mortgage Daily First Quarter 2018 Mortgage Origination Survey.
The servicing portfolio was previously reported at $21.2 billion as of October 2017.
During the first-three months of this year, HomeBridge originated 9,668 loans for $2.713 billion. Retail originations accounted for $1.655 billion, while wholesale lending made up $1.058 billion.
HomeBridge reported total staffing of 2,400 employees. Staffing was down considerably from February 2017, when it was previously reported at nearly 3,000 people.
