One of GMAC’s servicing executives has taken on additional responsibilities as the company postures for growth at its correspondent and warehouse lending units. Another servicing executive has found work elsewhere.
The new senior vice president of business lending sales is Jeffrey Lemieux, the Fort Washington, Pa.-based lender said in a statement today. In this role, he will report to Adam Glassner, the executive vice president of business lending sales and mortgage capital markets.
From Costa Mesa, Calif., Lemieux will oversee customer relationships at GMAC’s indirect channel “with a focus on growing GMAC’s high quality correspondent and warehouse network and delivering holistic solutions to the firm’s clients.”
He’ll also maintain his current responsibilities as senior vice president of fee based servicing, which includes managing the servicing capabilities that GMAC provides to third-party organizations. In this role, Lemieux reports to Joseph Pensabene, executive vice president, chief servicing officer.
The executive, who joined GMAC 10 months ago, previously worked at Cerberus Capital Management, which now shares ownership in GMAC with the government.
GMAC said in a separate statement today that John Vella resigned as executive vice president of portfolio servicing strategies. Vella left for another opportunity.
“We wish John well and thank him for his efforts and service,” the statement said. “The company has restructured John’s responsibilities under GMAC’s executive vice president and chief servicing officer, Joe Pensabene.”
In a filing yesterday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, GMAC Inc. said its president and head of global automotive services business, William Muir has notified the company that he plans to retire within the next year.
