| A popular loan origination system is expanding online, with Microsoft Office products included as part of the new package. And loan officers have the option of buying the technology pre-loaded on a server appliance that they can operate right out of the box.
PushMX Software is planning to announce Monday the release of its Web-hosted application GLOBALOFFIX. The service integrates Calyx Point loan origination software and PushMX online, enhancing Point’s capabilities and allowing users to access, monitor and close loans from anywhere, anytime using a Windows XP-equipped computer and Internet connection, according to a PushMX statement. The integration also offers expanded pipeline and deadline visibility, task management, tracking, reporting and customization. PushMX said the new application is the “only automated, real-time, loan workflow and pipeline management suite for Calyx Point users” and that it adds to the depth of workflow and business management tools without requiring employees to be retrained. “No matter where you work or where you travel, you can remain continuously connected to your customers and everyone in your office to participate in all critical tasks, decisions and communications,” PushMX CEO Dean Haritos said in a statement. The Internet application also includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader, the announcement said. Ellie Mae Chief Technology Officer Limin Hu told MortgageDaily.com that the new features similar to Ellie Mae’s origination software, Encompass. “PushMX provides some compensation for the serious shortfalls of Calyx Point, in comparison to Encompass,” Hu said in an e-mailed statement. “Encompass, on the other hand, can provide much better security, integration, functionality, and user experience thru a single, native enterprise software package.” PushMX also announced its software is available as an appliance — pre-installed, pre-configured and delivered right to the lender’s door. Dubbed BOXOFFIX, the “solution-in-a-box” network server appliance requires only a network and power cable to be connected before it is ready for use. “PushMX BOXOFFIX can become completely operational within 20 to 40 minutes after it arrives on your doorstep,” PushMX CEO Dean Haritos said in the announcement. |
