In addition to senior level managers, several recent executive appointments at mortgage firms are in technology. Other new executives are in human resources, accounting and sales.
An Oct. 19 press release indicated that Dan Lader has been recruited as senior vice president, technology portfolio delivery at Irvine, California-based loanDepot Inc.
His newly created position
has him overseeing program strategy and delivery, directing technology budgeting and forecasting, and leading IT audit and compliance functions.
Lader’s two decades’ experience most recently included a vice president of corporate technology job at Fannie Mae, where he spent nine years.
Kathryn Antoneas has been named chief human resources officer of 5,000-employee loanDepot, a news release Thursday said. Prior to accepting the newly created position, Antoneas spent three decades in human resource at other firms, including multiple Las Vegas casinos.
Citizens Bank announced on Oct. 19 that
Chris Nard has been appointed president of the mortgage group. Nard’s three decades in the business included a stint as president and chief operating officer at Old Republic International Corp. and chairman and chief executive officer of Republic Mortgage Insurance Co.
Nard replaces
Cheryl Nolda when she departs at the end of the year. Nolda has spent five years at the Provident, Rhode Island-based company.
Glenn Carter, executive vice president of national sales at RBS Citizens Home Lending Services, is also leaving the mortgage lender, Inside Mortgage Finance reported.
On Oct. 27, First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. announced that its new third-party origination national underwriting director is Kathleen Alvarez. Her more than 25 years’ experience included time at Citigroup Inc., Countrywide Home Loans, Fannie Mae and JPMorgan Chase & Co. She also previously worked for GMAC Mortgage, MGIC and Wells Fargo & Co.
Earlier this month, FGMC said it hired Jane Gershman as national servicing director.
Gershman’s prior employers include Citi Residential Lending, ServiceLink and SunTrust.
Paul Laprade was hired by Newport, Rhode Island-based Embrace Home Loans as northeast regional executive, an Oct. 15 statement said. Laprade reportedly has 27 years’ experience, most recently at Berkshire Bank.
In Salt Lake City,
Jeff Peterson was named controller of Castle & Cooke Mortgage LLC, according to an Oct. 14 news release. His quarter century in the field most recently included a 16-year stint at American Express.
Also in Salt Lake City,
Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. said on Oct. 5 that it hired Christopher Jensen as division manager. His last job during his more than two-decade career was at Castle & Cooke.
In the same announcement, PRMI said
Jim Hoggan was hired as sales manager. Hoggan also has more than 20 years in the business and most recently worked at Castle & Cooke.
At NewDay USA, Michael Turner
has been brought on as chief technology officer, an Oct. 29 statement said. He has “many years of experience in the technology and financial sectors.”
The new chief information officer at Fay Servicing is Dave Siegel, the Chicago-based firm announced Thursday.
Siegel reportedly has a quarter century in management, development and deployment in all phases of custom system implementation and business process improvement.
