In addition to an acquisition involving a loan origination system, two LOS service provides have upgraded there systems — with one labeled as a “major” release. Meanwhile, LOS integrations continue.
The assets of PCLender LLC have been acquired by Fiserv Inc., Brookfield, Wisconsin-based Fiserv said in an Aug. 1 statement. The acquisition is expected to enhance Fiserv’s suite of mortgage origination services.
“PCLender provides Fiserv with a full digital suite of mortgage origination solutions for banks, credit unions and mortgage lenders,” Fiserv President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffery Yabuki said in the announcement.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Encompass 17.3 has been launched by Ellie Mae Inc., a statement last month indicated. The “major” release includes additional updates for 2018 collection and reporting requirements under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
“With this major release of Encompass, we’re adding to applicant, property and loan feature data capture in support of HMDA,” Ellie Mae President and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Corr said in the press release. “This comprehensive release offers technology to ensure complete compliance with changing regulation.”

Also updating its LOS was
Wipro Gallagher Solutions, which late last month released NetOxygen v5.0. The update includes streamlined access to Application Programming Interfaces through the development of a gateway that enables direct data sharing with third-party partners.
Franklin, Tennessee-based Wipro noted that the update also provides greater configurability to its rate exception screen and enhances workflow logic to improve transparency around performance and increase efficiencies.
Western Ohio Mortgage Corp. will now utilize RV Exchange from ReverseVision
to support its home-equity conversion mortgage operations, an Aug. 8 statement said.
“One of the great things about RVX is that it has safeguards built in to help loan officers who are new to HECMs avoid missing essential steps in the origination workflow,” Western Ohio Mortgage President Teresa Rose said in the statement.
Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp.’s
products are now available through LendingPad, the LOS from WEI Technology LLC, according to an Aug. 14 statement.
Vantage Production LLC’s VIP solution has been integrated with BytePro from Byte Software, a news release last month indicated. The integration reportedly provides a way market to originators’ leads and prospects-in-process in a simple, automated manner.
The
LoanSphere Empower LOS has been verified by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to generate Uniform Closing Dataset files, Black Knight Financial Services recently announced. Borrower information on all loans with note dates on or after Sept. 25 must be submitted with UCD files, while seller data will be required starting in the third quarter of next year.
