Members of the Lenders One Mortgage Cooperative have doubled their mortgage fundings.
Collective production reached $77.1 billion last year, a recent news release indicated.
Production more than doubled from $36.8 billion reported by the St. Louis-based firm for 2008 — when business fell from 2007’s $40.4 billion.
During just the fourth-quarter 2009, fundings were $20.5 billion, rising from $18.1 billion the prior quarter and $9.2 billion the prior year.
Lenders One reported that membership grew by 47 last year to 156.
