A wholesale lender has acquired the technology it needs to provide mortgage brokers with automated underwriting for a host of loan programs. And originators can find free mortgage calculators for their Web sites among the latest mortgage technology offerings.
Plaza Home Mortgage Inc. has become a customer of Loan-Score Decisioning Systems, LLC, a press release said last week. Plaza, a wholesale lender, will utilize Loan-Score’s automated underwriting solution, product and pricing engine, PDA Pricer application, and broker portal.
“Loan-Score’s AUS underwrites all types of loans and will seamlessly integrate with Fannie Mae’s DU/DO, Freddie Mac’s LP, FHA Total Scorecard and DataTrac, Plaza’s back-end processing and banking system,” the announcement stated. “The solution is designed to deliver instant product eligibility, pricing and automated underwriting approvals, complete with all conditions and loan details.”

InsideValuation announced Wednesday upgrades to its collateral risk-scoring model. The enhanced InsideRisk evaluates economic and demographic data linked to more than 40,000 residential zip codes. Five variables — including affordability, unemployment, property crime, violent crime and gross rent multiplier — are evaluated.
Fiserv Inc. said Tuesday Pentagon Federal Credit Union will use its Nautilus Enterprise Content Management system to image-enable its mortgage processing functions. The credit union, with 764,000 members and over $11 billion in assets, is already using Fiserv’s loan origination system and loan servicing platform.
Fiserv said Nautilus is used by more than 500 institutions.
ABN AMRO Services Co. will utilize InputAccel to capture and help process its North American mortgage files, according to an announcement from the software’s publisher, EMC Captiva. Annual savings were touted at $500,000 for ABN AMRO.
“The company has been able to considerably increase their mortgage document capture capacity and meet its growing functionality needs,” EMC stated about ABN AMRO.
First American Proxix Solutions is courting servicers with a new personal property tax jurisdiction database. The company said tax jurisdiction can be complex, and its database is updated quarterly for states, cities, counties, townships, villages, boroughs and school districts.
Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced its Wiz Sentri enables institutions to identify and track internal fraud and fraudulent trends and behavior in real-time. The firm said fraud often starts inside institutions, and its anti-fraud platform’s internal fraud module listens to network activity to detect and prevent internal fraud.
