The biggest residential loan servicer and two smaller ones have made some management changes. Another servicer has added a pair of new directors to its board.
Wells Fargo & Co. reported earlier this month that
Perry Hilzendeger has been promoted to head of home lending servicing from his job as head of home lending default.
Hilzendeger replaces Michael DeVito, who was named the new head of mortgage production of Des Moines, Iowa-based Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in September.
Hilzendeger, who has spent a quarter-century at Wells Fargo, oversees a servicing portfolio of $1.669 trillion as of Sept. 30 — the biggest in the nation — and more than 17,000 servicing employees.
Jon Frojen, the chief financial officer of loanDepot
Inc. — which earlier this month canceled a planned initial public offering — resigned, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Taking Frojen’s place on Oct 26 was Bryan Sullivan, who will serve as executive vice president in addition to his new CFO post.
Before joining the Foothill Ranch, California-based company as chief investment and strategy officer in October 2013, Sullivan worked at PIMCO, Goldman Sachs and FBR.
Vadim Perelman has been appointed to Walter Investment Management Corp.’s board of directors, a statement Monday said.
Perelman, who is the founder of Baker Street Capital Management, joins the board on Dec. 7. In return for his directorship, Baker Street will throw its support behind class I directors nominated by the board and oppose any shareholder proposals not approved by the board.
Last week, Tampa, Florida-based Walter announced that Daniel Beltzman was added to its board.
Beltzman, who co-founded Birch Run Capital Advisors LP, agreed to similar terms as Perelman.
At Stonegate Mortgage Corp., a Nov. 17 news release indicated that
Steve Landes was named as its new director of national sales. Landes, who is also president of Stonegate-subsidiary NattyMac, previously worked for IndyMac Bank and NovaStar Mortgage Inc. during his 23-year career.
The new CFO at InterLinc Mortgage Services LLC is David Scheiderich. His 26 years’ experience includes time at several firms in the Houston area, where InterLinc is based.
On Oct. 29, Fay Servicing announced that Dave Siegel was named chief information officer.
He has more than 25 years’ experience, though not at any mortgage companies.
Tom Donatacci starts a new job as executive vice president of business development at Selene Finance LP on Nov. 30, the Philadelphia-based servicer reported last week. His prior employers include Clayton Holdings, Lehman Brothers and GMAC ResCap.
The new vice president of capital markets at Union Home Mortgage Corp. is Ralph Mayo, a Nov. 16 statement said.
His two decades’ experience most recently included a stint at Huntington National Bank, according to his LinkedIn profile, while he also was on the payroll of GMAC-RFC and DeepGreen Financial.
