The company that claims to be the biggest mortgage lender based in Wisconsin said it has captured the title three years in a row.
Last year’s “HMDA” loan volume at Associated Bank was $3.6 billion, the company reported Friday.
That worked out to more than 25,000 mortgages at the $22 billion bank.
The level of 2010 volume made the Green Bay, Wis.-based lender the biggest mortgage originator with its headquarters in the state, the news release indicated. It was the third consecutive year that the No. 1 ranking was achieved.
Associated said that it prevented around 1,300 foreclosures last year on $86 million in mortgages.
