The annual mortgage technology conference hosted by the Mortgage Bankers Association in Dallas has prompted a plethora of announcements from mortgage technology providers. Among services being touted are digital documents and signatures, loan origination systems and wholesale pricing engines.

ByteSync was released by Byte Software to synchronize data between the company’s LOS with LoanToolbox’s marketing system. The new offering helps convert data from leads into an LOS file.

Mortgage Builder Software Inc. said its LOS can be purchased on usage basis, avoiding periodic flat fee charges and higher upfront costs. Customers can easily switch between three pricing plans “if one of the models becomes a better fit for the lender.”

Initial disclosures and closing documents have been embedded into Calyx Software’s Point 6.1 version due for release in May. The update reportedly eliminates the need to exit Point and go to the document vendor’s Web site. Seven vendors have collaborated with Calyx on this new feature.

Financial Industry Computer Systems Inc. said a new interface with Triad Guaranty Insurance Corp. enables users of Loan Producer to order and receive Triad mortgage insurance policies.

Commonwealth Bank & Trust Company has implemented Optimal Blue’s product eligibility and pricing engine technology, an announcement today said. The bank had been handling the pricing function with its own technology, which required daily pricing uploads and an outside hosting service. The service enables direct online access to wholesale lender guidelines.

Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest will utilize Sollen Technologies’ Lender Online — a loan pricing and pipeline management tool, Sollen reported today.

A new feature to Cogent Road’s Funding Suite v3.0 is an underwriting conditions scan that detects the conditions and underwriting flags that may be required by Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter. Another new feature explains why a credit score or credit file cannot be provided for a loan applicant.

Loan disclosures can be sent to customers digitally through MRG Document Technologies’ eDisclosures, a press release said. Prospective borrowers can execute the customizable disclosures online, while lenders will receive an electronic copy for their files.

eLynx announced the latest release of uSign eliminates the need for a separate authentication step for borrowers who are already authenticated into the lender’s customer portals. The new feature is accomplished through single sign on technology in compliance with the “SAML standard.”

Docu Prep and PriceMyLoan has become a Certified BPO Provider of Xerox Mortgage Services’ BlitzDocs Collaboration Suite, the companies announced. The suite now includes a security feature that embeds computer-readable data to the paper. Among other new features are one-click document submission solutions, drag and drop functionality, and document organization support.

PushMX Production version 4.0 is now available for shipping, PushMX Software announced. The new version includes paperless document management as well as a service provider interface enabling tracking of document requests and order status.

PushMX also said Equity National Title is the first service provider to participate in its interface.

Wave Systems Corp. announced today that it licensed its eSign Transaction Management Suite to SigniaDoc for integration into the SigNet eDoc Management Solutions to manage digital and electronic signature processes.

Stewart will launch TouchSign technology through its network of offices and agencies this month, a news release said. The service converts closings from pen and paper to digital documents and touch screens.

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced its newly launched Simplified Mortgage, which it said will help lenders and borrowers make the closing process for first mortgage and home equity loans simpler, faster and more affordable while complying with all federal and state regulatory requirements. The service reduces the number of pages recorded.

Titan Lenders Corp. announced nine customers have signed on to its closing, funding, and post closing back office fulfillment services during the first quarter.

A new version of Warehouse Lending System was announced by Street Resource Group Inc. Sunday. The new version leverages the widespread use and interoperability of the Microsoft Web Server, Internet Information Services and a Software as a Service delivery model. The latest release is more firewall-friendly and eliminates the need for special configurations on individual systems.

Cincinnati-based eLynx also announced a new service that enables the entire loan modification process to be completed securely over the Internet “in minutes.” The solution combines electronic distribution and signatures with an on-demand archiving option.

Integrated Mortgage Solutions touted that six new servicers became customers during the fourth quarter. Through Web-based IMS ADAPT, the company provides inspections, quality control checks and preparing properties for auction.

Mavent Inc. announced an enhanced license verification and monitoring service that utilizes a national licensing repository of more than 450,000 licenses.

Visionet announced the availability of ESF.NET Rapid Development Toolset to re-engineer Microsoft technology based applications.
