As residential lending executives are shuffled from one mortgage organization to another, the real estate finance industry is mourning the loss of one of its own.
Motivity Solutions Inc. President Todd Sherman co-founded the company in October 2006 with his brother and chief executive of the firm, Tyler Sherman.
Before launching
Denver-based Motivity Solutions, the Sherman brothers ran Watermark Financial Partners Inc., which was ultimately sold in back in 2004.
But prior to its sale, Watermark
reportedly was the seventh-largest Federal Housing Administration lender in the country in 2003 and 2004.
Friends, family and Motivity employees are mourning Todd Sherman’s
unexpected death on March 19.
A statement by Tyler Sherman on a memorial web site
stated, “Todd collapsed while working out Saturday and passed away in the emergency room with all of us by his side.”
“I have lost my brother, my best friend, and my inspiration, and Todd made me the man and father I am today,” Tyler Sherman’s statement said. “The world has lost the most amazing husband, father, brother, son, friend and human being.”
A memorial service is being held at 1 pm on Saturday at the
Inverness Hotel and Convention Center in Englewood, Colorado.
