Among recent management moves at home finance firms is a current government-sponsored enterprises executive, a former GSE executive and a pair of Texas mortgage executives.
The new executive vice president of capital markets at Guild Mortgage Co. is David Battany, an announcement Wednesday said.
Battany was recruited from PennyMac, where he maintained relationships with the GSEs as executive vice president of product strategy.
In all, Battany has more than three decades in mortgage lending,
including more than two decades at Fannie Mae.
Brian Biglin
has been hired as the first chief risk officer at loanDepot LLC, an announcement Wednesday said. Biglin’s last job was as chief risk officer at Intuit — which recently laid of hundreds of employees. He also held the same job at PayPal and Chase Manhattan Corp.
In Irving, Texas, Cathy Gibb
was hired on as regional vice president for the area that includes Houston and Southern Louisiana, an April 13 statement said.
Gibb’s more than 30 years in the business included stints at Academy Mortgage Corp., Bank of America and Countrywide Home Loans, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Also in the Lone Star State, Jason Dickson, was promoted
to Texas regional manager at Churchill Mortgage, an April 9 statement said. He’ll work with Churchill’s Texas executives and managers to strengthen recruiting and marketing efforts.
LoanStar Home Lending said Tuesday that
Mikayla Morgan has been promoted to marketing integration manager and coordinator. Morgan, who herself is a loan officer, will help maximize the company’s marketing system for the Bellevue, Washington-based lender’s other originators.
A look at Morgan’s LinkedIn profile indicates that she got her start in financial services in 2011. She joined LoanStar in November 2013.
In commercial real estate lending,
David Leopold was named vice president of affordable housing production for Freddie Mac’s multifamily business, a statement Tuesday said. He’ll manage all relationships, transactions and deal negotiations for the multifamily affordable housing business.
Leopold’s prior employers during his two-decade career include Bank of America and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
