Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has shaken up its retail sales management. An insider has been promoted to lead the retail sales organization.
A statement Thursday from the Des Moines, Iowa-based firm indicated that Greg Gwizdz, Drew Collins and Sandy Streator are no longer with the company.
Gwizdz was
head of retail mortgage sales, while Collins was the Pacific division sales manager, and Streator was regional sales manager for Nevada and Oregon.
No reason was give for the trio’s departure.
Liz Bryant has been named to lead retail sales in home lending, replacing Gwizdz.
Bryant, who originally joined Wells Fargo in May 2003, was promoted from her position as head of
home lending retail fulfillment operations.
Before she worked for
Wells Fargo, Bryant spent 11 years at GMAC Mortgage. In all, she has 25 years’ experience in mortgage originations and operations.
In her new job, she’ll oversee more than 7,900 mortgage consultants.
Wells Fargo’s retail originations were previously reported at $130 for all of last year.
She’ll report to
Michael DeVito, who is head of mortgage production.
“Liz’s broad experience in this business and her energetic leadership style make her an excellent choice to lead the nation’s largest mortgage origination sales force into the future,” DeVito said in the news release. “Changing customer expectations and technical innovation are creating exciting opportunities in the mortgage business, and we recognized that new sales leadership is required as we continue to evolve our culture and deliver for our customers in compelling new ways.”
