Less than a month after hiring a new president, Waterstone Mortgage Corp. announced plans to add more than a hundred people to its staff in the Land of Enchantment.
Waterstone, which maintains its headquarters in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, has opened a southwestern regional office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. According to a news release Monday, the new office will be its largest to date. In addition to servicing the Albuquerque population, the location will handle the greater New Mexico area. More than 100 employees will be working out of the main office and multiple satellite offices. Leading the group will be 30-year financial services veteran and Waterstone Regional Vice President Sue Millspaugh. “The organization’s sterling reputation, ability to close loans on time, substantial list of product offerings and company culture will fit perfectly with our overall goals,” Millspaugh said in the statement. “The team is also looking forward to the opportunity to grow professionally within a well-respected and forward-thinking company.” On June 19 Waterstone announced that industry veteran A.W. Pickel III was hired as its president. Company-wide headcount was last reported at more than 700 people. |
