A Maryland-based reverse mortgage lender expects to increase its team of originators by at least 100 this year.Next Generation Financial Services announced today that it is on track to hire 100 full-time originators during 2009.
“We have expanded our recruiting to include experienced reverse mortgage loan officers as part of the development of a national support effort,” Next Generation founding partner Robert Wallace said in the statement. “Individuals who join Next Generation Financial Services in this capacity have the opportunity to become employed as a full-time loan officer with a comprehensive benefit package and are classified as direct loan officers.” The Baltimore-based company said the recruiting will be done nationally. Next Generation, a subsidiary of 1st Mariner bank, said it is approved as a Fannie Mae seller. It does business in all 50 states. To help in its recruitment efforts, Robert Wallace was hired as a regional manager in Chicago. |
