Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. saw growth in its residential servicing portfolio. In addition, the home lender added more staff to its roster.
As June 30 ended the second quarter, PRMI closed 5,957 residential loans totaling $1.168 billion, according to Mortgage Daily’s Second Quarter 2014 Origination Survey.
Compared to 7,017 loans tallying $1.419 billion in the second-quarter 2013, mortgage loan originations showed negative growth.
At the latest business quarter’s end, the Salt Lake City-based mortgage banker revealed 7,407 loans were serviced for $1.475 billion.
The lender’s mortgage servicing portfolio improved over the 7,104 loans handled for $1.350 billion as of the same time period last year.
By June’s end, PRMI had 1,881 staff members, 111 more than at the end of last year’s second quarter.
